The MS Stubnitz is an old east-german fishing trawler, beeing changed into a moving platform for cultural transport and research.
Since 1992 it’s been travelling the North – and East European seas from Rostock / Germany, to pay visits to cities like Amsterdam, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Brugge, Dunkerque, Malmoe, St. Petersburg, Hamburg and others.
The 80 meters long steel ship houses Europe’s largest audio and video archive of documentary on today’s wide spread spectrum of music projects and art.
